Basic guidelines you should know before you proceed

Now that you have made up your mind to go for the competition, let us provide you some basic guidelines about what we are expecting from your writing, this is becuase if you think you do not joke about your job neither do we.

  • All of the essays will be marked on a scale of 100 who ever achieves 90 will be in the category of final short listing of candidates. Where in the best contestant with highest point will be declared as the winner.
  • Do not plagiarize your work. Copying from others work is stealing. We are expecting original work from the contestants. We will catch you easily even if you copy a single phrase. If you think the work or phrase is worth including in your paper, properly cite it using one of the following formats:
    1. Harvard
    2. MLA
    3. APA
  • All essays to be written in English. We will not accept any essay for the competition written in any other language other than English (UK).
  • We are expecting something new, the panel that is going to judge your work consists of some of the most experienced readers and analysts at Project Guru. They spend hours and go through almost 30 - 40 journals and articles everyday. So you need to be much better than what they read everyday.
  • The topics that will be provided to you will be easy and general. Use proper headings, pointers and paragraphs to define your point. We shall test your paper on the following criterias:

    3. Knowledge
    4. Command over the language
    5. Reference and credibility
    6. Interpretation and analysis
    7. Content
    8. Conclusion
  • The more the references you cite in your paper the more the weightage your paper gets. Also be careful of the plagiarism ratio in your paper.
  • You may enroll into this competition for as many times as you wish. You will get a time of 3 days to finish your essay. The results will be declared on every Tuesday here. You may try and retry for more than once and it will be judged as a fresh paper every time.

NEITHER PROJECTGURU.IN, ITS AFFILIATES NOR ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, THIRD PARTY CONTENT PROVIDERS OR LICENSORS WARRANT THAT PROJECTGURU.IN WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR FREE; NOR DO THEY MAKE ANY WARRANTY AS TO THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM USE OF PROJECTGURU.IN, OR AS TO THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY OR CONTENT OF ANY INFORMATION, SERVICE, OR MERCHANDISE PROVIDED THROUGH PROJECTGURU.IN.

(B) PROJECTGURU.INIS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF TITLE OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OTHER THAN THOSE WARRANTIES WHICH ARE IMPLIED BY AND INCAPABLE OF EXCLUSION, RESTRICTION OR MODIFICATION UNDER THE LAWS APPLICABLE TO THIS AGREEMENT.

APPLICANT SPECIFICALLY ACKNOWLEDGES THAT PROJECTGURU.IN IS NOT LIABLE FOR THE DEFAMATORY, OFFENSIVE OR ILLEGAL CONDUCT OF OTHER APPLICANTS OR THIRD-PARTIES AND THAT THE RISK OF INJURY FROM THE FOREGOING RESTS ENTIRELY WITH APPLICANT.

(D) IN NO EVENT WILL PROJECTGURU.IN, OR ANY PERSON OR ENTITY INVOLVED IN CREATING, PRODUCING OR DISTRIBUTING PROJECTGURU.IN OR THE PROJECTGURU.IN SOFTWARE, BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE PROJECTGURU.INAPPLICANT HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION SHALL APPLY TO ALL CONTENT ON PROJECTGURU.IN.
