    When I was young between 1949 to 1969 most of the farmers in my district [Dakshina Kannada and Udupi were one district], were cultivating organic farming of Paddy [three crops per year]. Our family also used to do it. At present large agriculture land is not being cultivated due to high labor cost and children of farmers going out seeking jobs in IT and other sectors both within the country and outside the country. Agriculture is being abandoned and large number of paddy fields remain uncultivated. I am interested to take up a study of agriculture situation in our two districts between 1950 and till date and write a research article and suggest as to how the wastelands can now be used through a Farmers Producer Organisation [FPO] . I want to involve students in this project. Is there any way we collaborate and take up this project on scientific lines. Please

    I am M. Shripathy Rao, M.Sc. in Statistics with 45 years of work experience in Karnataka State Agriculture Marketing Board [Assistant Director of Research] ,RBI/ NABARD [Assistant General Manager] , Cooperatives, Farmer Producer Organisations [Consultant], Micro finance institutions[Associate Vice President], NGOs[consultant]. I am a positive thinking trainer, Reiki Master healer, Yoga Teacher and freelance writer and agriculture consultant. I have guided M.Sc. agriculture students in research work and supported P.H.D seekers in statistical analysis of data. I have worked as Statistics Lecturer during 2010 to 2015 after my retirement. I am interested to be associated with your team in research work, writing research articles, supporting others etc being at home. I have a laptop with interest and good in using computers. If you can take me as one of the team member to support and guide others interested in research work I am ready to support your team.
    I am now 70 years maintaining good health by daily practicing positive thinking, Reiki self healing and Yoga and doing counseling, healing and training others in living a happy, healthy, wealthy, abundant life. I am from a farming family in Udupi in Karnataka and I had practiced organic farming till I completed my graduation in 1969. Thanks and regards.
