The traditional workplaces with a large pool of permanent employees is slowly being replaced by blended workplaces which have a smaller but proportionate pool of traditional full-time workers, part-time workers, temporary workers, remote and contract workers (Graebel, 2013).
Moonlighting is defined as an employee’s tendency to work with two different companies at the same time. To work in both the companies, they divide their work on the basis of day and night (Banerjee, 2012).
The senior management act as an authority in an organization, attrition at this level is significant, especially during times like recession (Cote, 2013).
Team building is an upcoming phenomenon through which human resource managers in various organizations are trying to balance the issue of attrition and retention.
