Sarantakos defined research method as “the theory of methods” (Sarantakos 2012; p. 465), or the way through which a researcher makes sense of the object of inquiry. Within research methodology, research strategy assumes as the “general plan of how the researcher will go about answering the research questions” (Saunders et al. 2009; p. 90).
Choosing an appropriate research philosophy is an important part of research methodology. In fact as Guba & Lincoln, (1982) has propounded, philosophical paradigm within a research holds utmost importance, as it is the “basic belief system or world view that guides the investigation” (p. 105).

Research in common parlance refers to search for knowledge. One can also define research as a scientific and systematic search for pertinent information on a specific topic. In fact, it is an art of scientific investigation.
Before studying the application of conceptual framework, we need to first define it. It can be defined as a ‘visual’ presentation of key variables, factors or concepts and their relationship among each other which have been or have to be studied in the research either graphically or in some other narrative form (Miles and Huberman, 1994).
